Default Converting to Manual rack...what is this part?

I pulled the ps cooler and am getting ready to take the hoses that go to the rack off. What is this sensor/electrical part? Is it okay to remove it?

Is the PS pressure sensor. You can remove it. If you're gutting the rack, you should remove all that plumbing anyway.

onestly, the only bneneift to having the motor tranny out is getting the lines out, and disconnecting the rack from the steering clumn, everything else is dont outside/under the car

Is it difficult to disconnect the steering column from the rack?

Cool. I have a steering column from a 97 Prelude. I want to see if it will fit my 96 rack.

If so, know what that means?

No bother. Good thing you asked becasue I didnt even think about it.

I will be glad to put in a quaife and MFactory FD. It sucks that I am putting so much $ into the tranny, but I cant have any weak links!
