Default H4-9003

i just bought new 9003 headlight bulbs for my 96 hatch... but my hatch takes h4... i've always wondered isnt 9003 and h4 the same ****... will these 9003 bulbs work on my headlights? cuz from the outside there the same setup... i need to know cuz if they dont work i'll just bring them back.

????.. you guys with the 92-95 headlights should also know cuz they also use the h4 bulb

I've always wondered the same thing. I always thought they were the same considering they look EXACTLY the same. Bump for an answer.

exactly... looks like the same **** 2 me.. why not just call them h4 if they are the same thing... i think it might have to do with the output of the bulb... but i dont know thats why im asking... i dont wanna open this box before im sure cuz then i cant return them

9003 and H4 is the same ****. H4 is just cheaper.
