Default eBay Racing radiator vs. Koyo Racing radiator

What do you guys think between the two ? I've been looking them up a bit on ebay and comparing to Koyo. In the pictures they look almost identical to me, but then again I don't know sh*t about welds and materials used.

For the price differences :
eBay = 150 shipped

vs.
koyo = 350 shipped.

Has anybody actually tried the eBay one and hated it so much went to a legit racing radiator ? My cousin who used the eBay radiator on his b20v hatch said it was fine all the way up until he sold it, which was 2 years later. The eBay one also comes with a 3 year warranty.

What does two thumbs up mean? Care to explain?

OP: I'm sorry but I have no experience with the eBay unit. However, I did have a Koyo and the build quality is pretty nice, holds more fluid over OEM and takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

That "ebay" radiator looks decent but Id like a closer look at the fins and welds. Many people on HT have had great results with no-name radiators from ebay. Or just check the marketplace for a used full size that is from a reputable company and you can probably find one at a decent price.

I'd get the koyo, maybe because I'm biased towards ebay parts.

I totally feel you bro. I am biased towards eBay stuff as well, but an eBay radiator is the only thing that I've yet to hear negative comments.

When my OE one started leaking I bought a $100 made in china temporary replacement. It worked fine but I couldn't leave it in there. I bought a Fluidyne and think that its great...looks wicked, cools better and according to my mechanic I could drive the car into a wall and still reuse it. Koyo is just as good. I wouldn't buy a rad off ebay unless I saw it somewhere else. Do yourself a favor, get OE (big$) or get something good: Fluidyne or Koyo. Who really knows how long those ebay rads actually last.
