Blown trace on cluster?
While I was in the process of putting my lx cluster in my 89 std I noticed it has a blown trace. Does anyone know what this trace does and if it can be fixed?

I had an Si hatchback cluster, one of those broke for the vehicle speed sensor. my vtec would cut in and out. changed the cluster and it fixed that. gl
I followed the trace around and it seems like its a ground the only think that doesn't seem to work is the dash lights. I wont know if the speed sensor works or not until i get the speedometer cable fixed. Anyhow does it look like the trace can be fixed with a piece of wire?
yes that is a ground, I checked my spare.
any other ground should fix this .
just make a ground wire that will go under the screw that the trace leads to and connect it to another screw that is also a ground, I think there's 3 other grounds to choose from . you could ground it on the body too, but this way its all connected to the cluster.
ive also wondered if a wire could be soldered in to fix the curciut, it looks delicate and plus there are curciuts on the front and back of it, although not in the spot you need to fix.

Thanks, I am going to have a friend of mine repair it for me. He fixes electronics at his job so he should be able to fix it no problem.
