EK Mirrors and Sideskirts on an EG???

Ive seen this done before, so I picked up a pair of EK mirrors and sideskirts the other day

the sideskirts are a bit long, and the mirror bolt holes dont line up. Is there a write up any place on this?

should i drill new holes for the mirror and just saw off the sideskirt?

also does anyone have pictures of what this looks like done?
