Default Tranny problem with my EF w/b16a swap

Wsup Guys,

Need some help here, I just purchased a 90 EF9 with a B16a Swap (Cable Tranny). The guy I bought it from says that the clutch is a 3 puck. When driving the car and accelerate it real fast it feels like the clutch is almost gone. However, it will then grip and pull really hard. I tried adjusting the clutch but, when I did does not go anywhere when in gear. I also discovered that the threads on the clutch cable is busted. This is the thread to adjust the clutch higher or lower.

I want to change the entire clutch cable and I am not sure how to remove it. Can anyone tell me how I can change the cable? Also, if anyone knows what might be the problem on my clutch to please explain.

Thanks for your help.......
