Default NO TOP END

i have a:
95 b18c1
jdm type r piston
blox type b cams
skunk2 valve springs
rev valves
skunk2 manifold
rage header
custom 2.5 cat to the back
skunk2 cam gears set at 0,0
tune on crome pro - street tune

now for some reason. i have no top end at all. my mid feel pretty strong. but when vtec kicks it feels like it not going no where. i have not went to the dyno yet. but i was thinking. do i need more fuel on top? and my vtec right now is set at 5600. and my redline is at 8500. do you think i should get a fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator and maybe injectors? i know that i need to go the dyno. but im preparing everything before i hit the dyno.

I think that 5600 for the vtec is too low for a gsr motor, I would do it in the 4800-5200 area.

And it sounds like you need more fuel at the top end.

Get the car to a dyno, that's really the only way that you would know for sure what you are missing

Yes, definately.

And if I remember correctly, blox type B's are similar (damn close actually) to Skunk 2 Stg2's. If so, then definately don't lower your vtec engagement. Just get the car on the dyno man.

Well if you dont have a tune on the car what do you expect? Whenever you do a significant change to a motor such as Cams or Pistons you change how the engine was originally intended to operate. Get it tuned with a Hondata or Crome and you should see good results.
