Your exactly right in saying It is ridiculous, but I say the ridiculous thing is you are running itb's with no tuning and are simply playing with a vafc hoping to get it to run perfect.

GET IT TUNED. with real engine managment not a crap vafc.

i tried using crome and it had the same problem so i swapped ecu and said wtf lemme try it. the other ecu ran better than the crome ecu so we decided to put the afc on it.

was it just a crome "chip" or did you actually get on a dyno with crome?

if you couldnt get it running with Crome, i suggest going to a different tuner. If you did not get it tuned and only ran a "chip" thats your own fault for not getting it tuned properly. ITB's are NOT BOLT ONS.

not to mention you are running larger injectors and a larger fuel pump. A vafc cant even control those injectors, then you throw ITB's and a high pressure fuel pump into the mix and you will get a poorly running car.

I had ITB's on an h22 about 5 yrs ago and went out on the street and tuned it with a vafc and had it drivable not running to rich. But then went with a wideband in the car and got it to about 13.7a/f then vafc was prolly -35 throughout if i remember right.
