like the topic says, will a 4.9 ats final drive from an ek9 fit my jdm ITR 98 spec tranny? tnx for any help you can give

Not sure on the EK, but how many bolts does it have, that will answer the question of if it will fit/work.

Some people like to refer their D series hatchback as an EK9

But anyways, if the tranny in your civic is a B series I don't see why it wouldn't fit

let me clarify, i want to install an ats 4.9 fd from a ek9 ( ctr with the b16b engine ) into my jdm itr 98 spec tranny ( b18c engine ). AFAIK the ek9 tranny is identical to the usdm itr tranny. any comments?

just make sure it comes with all the necessary parts, including the 98spec 1st gear, needle bearings and distance collar.

Otherwise, you will have to order them.

my tranny is a stock jdm 98 spec itr tranny, so i'll just reuse the parts you mentioned
