I have a 90 crx si and I just did mini me yesterday y8 head and d16a6 bottom end. I started it and the idle is around 3k rpm. I did not remove the intake manifold completely from the car. i just backed it away. the throttle cable and all stayed in its original position. I tested for vacuum leaks also.Could I be off on timing?(it runs great just the high idle).The car is still obd-0 . If there is not enough coolant could the idle skyrocket from that. Help me out if you can.

if you have air in your cooling system, the idle will typically surge. Check your wiring.
