Default hydro to cable?

Ive got a 94 ls integra and am building up a ls/vtec all motor set up. I got a really cheap deal on a block and crank from a da (b18a1, correct? im not to sure) I also have bought a gsr hydro tranny. my question is this, first, will I be able to connect a hydro tranny to a b18a block (I believe the b18a1 blocks use cable trannys)? and second, do I need to buy a hydro to cable conversion or a cable to hydro conversion? Im a little confused, please help!

i dont think the b18a's are cable trannys. If i AM wrong. you will have to do a cable to hydro swap. i do believe there are kits out there that you can buy do all of that.

good luck mang

94's are b18b's 93 and lower are b18a's.... the DC integra has the b18b. The gs and ls DA has the b18a. the DA gsr was the b17. i dont think the block will have anything to do with if your tranny is a cable or hydro. as long as your car was a hydro tranny before you'll be fine.

pretty sure correct, i can swap a gen 3 motor with a gen 2 tranny into a gen 2 chassis so i would think you could swap a gen 2 motor with a gen 3 tranny into a gen 3 chassis

b18b - 94+ integra hydraulic transmission
b18a - 90-93 cable transmission

You can bolt on any b-series transmission onto your engine...regardless if it's a b16/b18/b20 engine.

If you have a 94 integra...you will be best off buying a hydraulic transmission(94+ LS) or B16/B18c hydro transmission. It will be easier to install then messing around with a hydro-to-cable conversion kit and getting that set properly.

Just pickup a hydro b-series transmission with the gearing you are looking for and your set
