240cc injectors, instead of 345's, bogging?!?
My friend has a 93 H22 motor and is using 240cc's injectors right now for the mean time. When he got the motor their were no injectors nor the resistor box, so i had spare 240cc's to let him use. The car bogs major and doesnt wanna rev around past 3,500 rpm. You think down grading from 345's to 240's would cause this? Stock motor everything. let me kno wat you guys think

bingo.
bingo.
One of my injectors took a ****. So I went to Pepboys and got new ones(Buddy hook up). Car ran like **** and wouldnt rev past 5000. Turns out Pepboys gave me the wrong injectors. They beleive all obd1 ludes use the same injectors. (245cc) Well I work at Midas so I decided to go through one of our parts vendors. Same problem. With 2 diffrent vendors. Finally broke down and paid for em from Majestic Honda. You gotta use the right injectors...

if my memory is right h22s came with 290, 310 , and 345s you could probably make the 240s work with an aftermarket FPR but the injectors would probably be close to full duty cycle, which will wear them out fairly quick. The 345s prolly run at 60% duty cycle or less. A switch back to 345s (or bigger) should fix it, if not you may want to consider a new fuel pump, although it would be a rare occasion to hear a stock h22 hit fuel cut. HAHA.

You can probably tune it to run on 240s, but don't push it because it will go lean on top as you max out duty cycle. Or, you can crank up the fuel pressure. Either way will get you going until you can get the right ones...
