engine starts fine but when reved up it bogs, help me please !!!!!!!
ok heres the thing when i start up the car the check engine comes on real quick and goes off
after about 10 seconds the light comes back on and when i rev it up warm or cold it revs fine till around 33-3500 rpm and bogs and sounds like a revlimiter or a launch controll
i have changed the main relay and the dizzy wires plugs are all brand new
i was thinking it might be the map sensor but not sure
oh the car is a dx 91 hatch wired for mpfi with a b18 in it
i drove it around today for a little and it does the same thing under a load ..... in all gears
so could it be my map or could it be a faulty ecu
any help is appreciated
turbozcteg@yahoo.com is my email or just reply on here
thanks guys

did you set your ignition timing correctly. Did you trying resetting the ecu and seeing if your check engine light comes on again? If so what code is it displaying?
ok call me a noob but how do i reset the ecu
i swapped out the ecu and its running fine right now i still have to adjust somethings
but for the most part its fine
and yes i have my ignition timing set ok
its at 8 degrees (BFDC)
