On all cars and trucks there is usually no dipstick for manual transmissions
If it is automatic then it is on the passenger side at the lower end of the engine bay
If it is manual then there is a level check/fill plug is on the right side of the trans axle housing (passenger side). Remove it and if the level is correct, it should be up to the lower edge of the hole. I have book with a picture with the exact location but cannot figure out how to but on this sight. The trans axle requires exactly 2qts. use API grade SF or SG engine oil 10W-30 or 10w-40. Yes the book requires engine oil.
