I recently had a b16 swap into my 2000 ex, I had to run with an open header for a day or two untill i could make a test pipe for it. Since I installe dthe test pipe, my vtec is breaking up. It will start popping and lose power when it kicks in. The car runs fine other than that. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this??

 

Do you have any check engines lights prior to or during this lag situation?
