this has just started happening within the past week or so. when i start my car up in the morning it sounds like a slight knock until the oil presure light goes off? i think it may be the oil pump but i just want to ask to see if anyone has had this problem before. thanks for any advice!

 

my gsr did the same thing but i didnt have an oil light. i was told it was my bearings. so i went ahead and threw some ACL rod bearings in and no more noise. you should really get it looked at

 

it only happens on initial start up though. after the oil light goes of it stops. the light is only on for 1-2 seconds also. and there isnt any metal shavings in the oil pan?!?!?
