When it is cold out in the morning i go to start up my car and it takes a second and then jerks really bad, and it also has a very ruff idle. once its warm it starts up fine. this started happening when i put my headers on and got my high flow put on. it did the hard start up before but could the idle be b/c of the headers and high flow?

 

You just need to adjust your idle up

 

up? it idles at 2.4grand.....

 

holy god.. I have headers, cai, exhaust, etc.. and idles at 1600 cold then down to like 500 idle warm... not sure.

how long has it been since you've done a tune-up?

 

**** i bought it with 128k miles. just installed headers 100 miles ago. ya its weird as ****. my warm idle is 300. i havent had it tuned since i bought it and the guy before me was old. pretty sure its a factory tune lol. its going in in 3 weeks to get my VAFC2 tuned on it so maybe that might fix it.
