I wanted to get an aftermarket steering wheel and I heard that you could avoid getting the SRS light from coming on with a resistor. Does anyone know what the resistance is?

I would do that, but then the passenger side air-bag won't work, with the resistor the only one that won't work is the one I unplug.

I just installed my Spoon steering wheel last weekend, and if you want the SRS light to turn off, remove the bulb.. I am still waiting to here info on this so-called "resistor" idea... No one has seemed to have done it, and I don't wish to be the first.
