Default dizzy help

well im putting a z6 in my 94 cx hatch and need help with the dizzy. i know the cx wont line up so i got another dizzy but im not 100% sure its a z6 dizzy that i found in my room that the guy gave me. theres no cap for it so i was wondering if i could use the cx cap for it and if it will work. also how do you know its a z6 dizzy?

is there a part number on it? and yes the cap will work

TD-42U is d16z6

i believe on the side that sticks into the head. on the metal. thjere should be sum numbers. call autozone. and say i need a z6 dizzy. for a 94 civic ex. 1.6 vtec. and ask what the dizzy part number is. i think theres 2 differnt kinds. check and see if yurs matches either.

yup u need a TD40U or a TD42U i do beleive.

tc-08a is the coil number.. its the same in d and b series dizzys

look all around it man... checkl the sides. cuz that still not the right hting.

its should have 3 numbers... the d02691
then the TD number. andthen the coil number.

if u need nething for a z6... i practically have a entire swap lying around. head with allnew seals. 3 angle valve job. leakdown. mill and new seats. its a nice lookin head.
