Default which intake manifold

I decided to purchase a intake manifold and do not know which kind to get. Which kind would be the most horsepower for a decent price.

Try skunk 2, they have some good IMs. Blox has an ITR replica IM for a pretty decent price.

I figured that was assumed by now. I have a blox on the way. Cheaper than skunk2 and doesn't have the stupid markings on the top of the plenum.

Now thats not 100% true... You are going to see SOME gains, albeit minimal.

Remember, a guy posted on here not too long ago, with a GSR hatch that dynoed 171/129 w/a skunk2 IM/DC sports header/buddy club exhaust WITH TUNING. No aftermarket cams.

bs.. i dont give a damn about the peak numbers.. of course the big *** mani will show top end numbers on the dyno, but without cams, powerband would be sluggish, esp downlow and mid

That guy went 14.2 @ 96 or 97 I believe. Not too sluggish I would say.

So .. Pretty much you're saying he made 30-40 hp off of an intake, and exhaust?

Oh, wait, that's axle back even..

i think everyone that keeps saying you need cams when you get a mani. is crap.. im not talking crap to anyone.. think what ya will.. but all i know from fact. is that a buddy that used to have a 96 civic with Gsr swap hewould be head to head with me when he had i/h/e but as soon as he got his fuel press. reg. and a blox manifold.. he got me by a car and a half easy.. soo that just proved with out a doubt to me that it will run better WITH or with out cam.. my .02
