Default JDM D15B Install Pics

Well, I took my digital camera and finally got some good pics of the install and the car itself. There were a couple people asking of pics of the car itself. It's not in the best shape because I need a new hood and fenders and possibly a front bumper. But without further ado...

Dude, the fenders have GOT to go.

My front end it crooked because my bumper mounts are broke on the bumper itself. That paint job has to go too. Thinking bright metallic silver. Also, my hood won't close with the D15B now.

Here's the heart of the beast.

Yeah, I agree, that is weird that your hood won't close.

I have a ZC in mine (swapping to the D15b), and the ZC is larger than that, and my hood closes fine..

Judging from the 2nd picture, your hood didn't close before! J/K. My hood closes fine!

To answer someone's question...the difference between the D15B2 and the D15B is pretty much night and day. I mean the D15B2 with the MPFI swap was pulling pretty hard but man, when that VTEC kicks in and you fly from 5500 RPM to fuel cutout, it's rediculous. It pulls pretty much the same until that second cam kicks in so to speak then it's ***** to the wall in a car this light. It's fun. My car looks like a POS but with a little TLC, it will be ****. I must be having some clearance issues with the hood because it's not lining up for some reason. I am going to try to adjust the hood hinges and latches and see if that helps.

Rust blows man. It really does, it destroys cars so rediculously here. PA sucks. I should have stayed in Tampa FL. But hey, I fixed my car. My engine was bogging real bad. Turns out my timing was off by a tooth or so. So I adjusted it and for some reason now my car sputters at idle. Anyway, I need to get a timing light and adjust it properly. Also, my hood wouldn't shut because of my piece of **** fenders. Right where the headlight is the part of the fender that is pointed and goes over the headlight was preventing the hood from shutting. Anyway, it's all done now except for the hood, fenders, and bumper. But that's all going to have to wait until after the wedding on the 21st of this month. This is getting crazy.
