i guess i should explan everything more in detail... remove the plastic above where your knees would be,, i believe its 2 14mm nuts.. remove those and drop your steering column and add a washer to a side.. and would tilt everything to a side....

From this pic it looks like someone broke into your car. The column needs to be replaced.
Looks the same as when my car and my friend's car got stolen/broken into. We both needed new steering columns.

Doubt it. When theives break into a car they dont take their time to unbolt stuff, they rip **** apart. If someone broke in the plastic cover would most likely be mangled.

I don't know if anything has been damaged and then repaired in the past for this car.
So I stand by it, it looks like it got broken into. I doubt he just got in one day and *poof* the steering column somehow bent itself.

Okay then. You need to replace the column.

No, there is no way to twist the column back so that the turn signal and entire column is straight again. It isn't built that way.
If you want to fix it, you'll have to replace the entire column. Trust me. I've had this problem before. Steering was fine, everything worked (well, the ignition was messed up, but could have been replaced alone) but the entire thing sat crooked.

That's what happens when they get stolen. I don't know if it happens ALL the time, but it happens a lot of the time. I don't know why, but I imagine it has to do with them breaking the steering wheel lock.
Here's my wheel after my car was stolen. Granted the steering wheel is turned a bit in this photo, but you can see the combo switch is also twisted to the side... which it shouldn't be.

Np. Good luck.
I'll give you a tip too. I got scammed when I bought my column. I was just excited to finally get a replacement and didn't think about that they gave me a new combo switch and such (I only needed the ignition and column that they gave me). So make sure they don't give you a new combo unless you want a backup (they're not cheap if one goes out). I had to pay for the extra combo switch they gave me. They also gave me the wrong column at first, but that's beside the point.

I got a 96-00 steering column with ignition and key. I bought for the same situation with my car, but it got stolen again before I can change it. Make me an offer.

I use spacers to fix mine crooked column, i think I use like 4-5 spacers.
It works but if you want a perfectly repair you have to replace the whole steering column.

He'll need to get another steering wheel too then. 5th and 6th gen Civic steering columns don't have the same number of spines at the end, thus they take different steering wheels.
