Civic Trouble starting when cold
I have a 93 civic ex on monday tuesday and sunday when i went out and tried to start the car it wouldnt start and i checked the spark and was all good. after about 15 mins tring to get it to start it started to start but seemed like it was flooded then after about 3-4 mins it would start.Im thinking its the Idle Air Control valve am i right or what else could it be thanks ?
its been about 30 and 40s but all winter i didnt have a problem it just started about a week ago and it was 5 below here in the winter .If it was the coil it wouldnt staRT AT all WOULDNT IT ?
i just had a coil that went bad.. and after i got it started it could be restart with no problem.. to test your coil do this.. when its cold take teh cap off.. the coil has 2 wires going to it.. + and - test the resistants between the wires.. it sould be between .6 and .8 ohm.. do you know how to do this?

why double check the battery?
When i stopped at the store on way home last night i noticed my idle was moving from 800 to like 1800 rpm up and down making me more to believe the Idle Air Control valve.

Maybe, But I'll put my money on the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve).
