Default Oil pan gasket?

Well I was about to put my oil pan gasket on the engine , and I grabbed the hondabond to add to it, and my buddy was like you don't need to add that stuff if it's a new gasket.

But **** I don't feel like redoing it, if I needed it on there. What do you guys do when you put on a new oil pan gasket? The block and oil pan is super clean now btw.

Thanks Bru's

I always use it and its in the helms. You dont need it all over, just the corners and far ends.

There's no reason not to use it.
