Transmission leak
after changing my oil yesterday i found out that i have a transmission fluid leak. first thing that came to my head was a gasket was blown when i last did the fluid which was roughly a month ago. is there anythign that i should look for. im not sure at all what to do right now so any input would be very helpful. thanks
What tranny gasket are you talking about? More likely than not, you have an axle seal leak. These seals are easily replaced, just need to pull the axle out of the tranny. The tranny halves are sealed with liquid sealer, not a gasket.
My advice is to clean your engine and tranny and see where the leak is originating from. Also make sure your tranny fluid level stays up to the fill bolt.

i think i am going to agree with you guys on this one, i looked at the car yesterday and the oil was leaking pretty quickly..what are the chances of the actual liquid gasket seal going bad when you put the tranny on the block, and would this matter anyway?
