A lighter flywheel will lead to quicker rev's and somewhat increased accel.

I have the exedy stage 1 (which I got for $200 shipped brand new btw ) and I love it too. There's no chatter what so ever, but it's nice and stiff with good feedback from the pedal... not too stiff though so you won't get a dead leg. I wish I had gotten a lighter flywheel too, my brother has one with his Exedy stage 2 and it feels really nice to be able to match revs so fast and shift much faster (during normal driving) since the RPMs drop down to where they need to be much faster... plus then it's less abuse on the axles and tranny and everything when you're racing since the RPMs drop down farther between shifts and it isn't such a big shock on everything with you let the clutch back out. If I was to do it again I'd go with the exedy stage 2 and a 12 or 10 pound flywheel since I plan to boost my car and I like how the flywheel feels. If you're staying NA/about 220whp and under, the stage 1 should be plenty. The stage 2 does have some chatter if you let the clutch out slow but once you get used to it you'll learn to let it out fast and hit the gas harder and it doesn't chatter.

i plan on going with a exedy organice stage 1 with the 9.5 lb. flywheel. ebay has got a sick deal on them that i can't pass up. besides, my throwout bearing is making noise.

my motor just has i/h/e. i figure since i'm changing the clutch and don't have time to send out to resurface flywheel, might as well go with a mild performance upgrade.

thanks for the input. i was worried about the chatter. i had a ACT street/strip before in my ls/vtec EJ and the chatter was pretty bad.

did you break it in? i couldn't resist breaking it in for 500 miles or so i mashed on gas at about 200 miles.

..yeah i don't care if its bad for the clutch or not it only takes me 2 hours pull tranny off and put it back on with new clutch in the future.

Well if you're rich then yea I guess that works... I couldn't even afford a lightened flywheel to go with the clutch so throwing in a new clutch doesn't work for me. I broke mine in for 600 before I couldn't resist, but was aiming for 750. Some people say they don't even break theirs in or for only like 50 miles... I wonder what it does, if anything.

right now i have an exedy stage 2 clutch kit, got it for $280 and it is ver nice.....there is about 1.5-2 inch of slack when i press down, then I feel the clutch working, when its all the way down I only have to let up about 1/2 inch before it catches and I dond really have to rev at all to start moving, it really springs me forward, not chatter at all really on stage two, ill let you know once I lightnen my flywheel this week......i am going 11.5 pounds
