Default Mini-me help needed quick

Ok, I got my mini-me a6/z6 head back together and I'm having some problems I have to figure out tomorrow. It's running, but the dizzy is 180 degrees off, so we rotated the plug wires to get it to crank. Well, we think its 180 off according to the book, but it wouldn't go the other way.
Also, hearing a loud ticking coming from the timing belt loop, towards the bottom. It was doing it before the swap, but is noticably louder now and is all the time, whereas it used to ease up after warming up.
Finally, my tach isnt working. ECU is reading rpm because my 2-stage launch control is working. I used a Rywire obd0->obd1 conversion harness which has 2 wires not used in any plugs, just hangin onto the vtec subharness, could this be the problem?
Anyway, for a list of parts, here ya go: P28 ecu from phearable.net, Rywire obd0-obd1 conversion harness w/vtec subharness and dizzy adapters, complete z6 head w/ intake, dizzy and other oem stuff.

You said that your tach does not read RPM's.
The distributor has 2 plugs one of them has 7 wires and the other has 2 wires
The plug with 2 wires has a blue wire
That one sends the power to the tach
There is an open in that wire or the wire came off the ignitor inside the dizzy
You might want to open the dizzy up and check it out

The dizzy on obd-0 is pointing straight up
The dizzy on obd-1 is pointing to the right about 45 degrees
What way is yours pointing??

The dizzy is pointing the right way, just felt like the cam piece was rotated 180, but we may have had the wrong perspective when looking at the dizzy.

And I'll have to check the wire in the ignitor, i don't remember seeing one. The car's about 40 minutes away at my buddy's place so i can't go look right now. As for the 2 wires from the dizzy, i guess those 2 on the vtec subharness/conversion harness could be them, just needing to be ran, again can't remember their color.

The wires for vtec are different, its not those
Those are not the ones im saying
The plug im saying has a blue wire and a black/yellow wire
The blue one is the one you need to check

There is only one blue wire that connects to the ignitor
It should be on the right side of the ignitor

Any thought on the ticking? Could it be the water pump or timing belt tensioner?

Take the timing belt cover and make sure all the bolts are tight.
Dont forget about the belt tensioner
I've never heard about ticking on that side of the motor
