Default need diff lug nuts?

i just bought new wheels and tires today and i put my lug nuts i had on my stock integra tires on, and they were really hard to put on b/c they were too big but i thought it wouldnt matter b/c i was so stoked to get my new ones on..so after i put them on i drove down the road to see how they are.. then i heard this knocking sound when i sped up it would get louder once i slowed down it wasnt as fast and as i was driving i put my head out the window to see what was going on and i saw lug nuts fly off my tire

so are there any other lug nuts i could buy so this wont happen again?
thanks ..sorry for the novel

If you had the stock steel rims, then I suggest not using the stock lugnuts. The Honda stock lugnuts for my steelies used a ball seat on the lugnut. Most aftermarket wheels require a conical seat lugnut. I use Summit. Gorilla, McGard, or anything with a conical seat should work.

the seats on the lugnuts are different. your stock lugs if you look at them the seat is round. Most aftermarket wheels require a thinner tuner lug that usually looks like an acorn. your lucky you didnt lose your wheel and crash.
