Default nippon pistons?

New to the forum lots of good info one of the best. My civic is driven reguraly but not a daily driver. I have a b18c1 and tranny all boltons aem v2, skunk2 intake manifold, aem cam gears, aluminum flywheel, type r 4 to 1 header, 2.5 exhaust. I plan on running skunk2 stage 2 cams, port and polish the head, upgrade the valve train maybe omnipower hondata or crome and a 64mm throttle body.
I know ill need more compression anybody out there using the nippon 12:1 pistons or should i use ctr pistons also how about the omni power valvetrain? any feedback on omnipower?

Default Re: nippon pistons? (supratin)

omnipower valve train is pretty good good bang for your buck

My buddie on here (xgen) had factory CR/Bore size Nippon pistons in his b16-Turbo last year and they worked just great.
I just picked up some nippon d16z6 .5mm oversize pistons I'm using on my lady friends factory rebuild and I have no doubts on them.
