Default CRX trunk crooked?, help me out here..

My trunk on my crx is not the original, everything else is on the car, well anyways it's off by like about almost a inch, maybe bout a half or so. The end of the trunk sticks out farther then the sides is what im sayin.

Im not sure as to whether or not take the trunk off and adjust the latches on both sides, or to loosin them and try pushing on it a little to budge it back a little?.

Here is a photo as to how off it is, the red line shows how far out it is.

Loosen the bolts on the hinges (at the roof) and adjust as needed. Have a buddy help, hatches are heavy. Then adjust the latch. It takes quite a while to get them to line up just right. I assume you have the right hatch.

Good luck

Well there are bolts under the roof linear that hold the trunk on, then there are two 10mm's at the latches that hold the trunk onto the latches.

So your saying the 10mm's right?, on the latch itself, not actually take the latch off just loosin them right?. I was gonna try that first but how do you take off the panel piece covering them up, i got this chrome looking tab across it and i don't wanna break it.

Kinda hard to tell by the pictures. I mean it actually looks straight in that pic. But anyways, yea just loosen the bolts up top..dont take them out just loosen them. Then push/pull the hatch were you want it and tighten the bolts back up. Good luck.
