few questions on mating JDM with USDM parts.....
I want to know if i purchase an Integra Type-R LSD from the USDM can i place it in my JDM y80 gearbox?
I was told that the B16a intake manifold can fit on a early model GSR motors, well i have a 94 OBD 1 GSR motor in my civic and i want to do the homemade ITBs so i wanted to kno which manifold can i use and cut to add the ITB onto?
Can i buy con rod bearing from the USDM and have them work in my JDM motor?
i am sorry if these questions seem stupid, but i dont live in the US and i had a friend who bought bearing from the USA and he said that when the shop installed then that the crankshaft would not turn. and i was talkin to another guy and he told me that if i want an LSD it is best that i order it directly from japan to ensure that it fits correctly and i have noo issues. so before i go adn waste a bunch of money i decided to ask and try to get answers.

The comment about a b16 mani fitting an early gsr refers the the B17 version made before yours. It will not fit on a 94+ GSR motor like yours.
Bearings in the engines should be the same, you just have to order the right ones. If a shop installed them and the crank won't turn, its because they were too incompetent to correclty measure the clearance.
