Default finally my s2k ap2 cluster is fully functional

after a full days worth of work i finally put it all together... it wasnt so bad

if you look at dscustoms.com for your information everything you need to know is there except they get some of the connector names mixed up so brace yourself.

it isnt mounted just all the wiring is done.

the vss tuning these is a bitch if you dont have a brother that is a cop and you can barrow his radar for a day. (which ill be doing sometime this weekend hopefully)

and i havnt actually loaded modifrys settings im using whatever hondas settings are at the moment, my computer is too slow and yeah i just didnt feel like doing it

i think the cluster goes up to 190mph

okay im not sure how to load pictures but i have a night time pic of it while i was driving around tryin to get the speeds right you can aim me and ill send ill take a picture of the rats nest of wiring behind the cluster tomarrow ha

Just a thought - My OBDII scanner displays vehicle speed directly from the ECU. You can get a scanner to do this on ebay for maybe< $70.

edit: oops sorry - If you are driving a 95 idk if it will work - your 95 would need to be OBD!! compatable

although the speed sensor isnt simply plug and play, it does have a good advantage. it allows you to compansate for your 18s if thats what your into. i can also calabrate it a few miles an hour faster to trick myself into driving slower. as you saw already when i was playing around i had it 190mph slightly above idle. i think its sweet, purhaps next they will make a seat belt reminder and flashing tach that will accomodate my nightrider like needs?
