we drilled 5 holes in the gas tank...3 on top then 2 then 1 like a pyramid...yea it sits semi low but thats what you get with a sump from summit...he'll be ok...

this is going to be a track car...its going to get towed to the track and back...as soon as we put the tank back on ill measure it out and get back to to you guys about how it sits...

They are about 3 to 3.5" deep if I remember correctly. To get an idea of size.... that appears to be a -8AN or -10AN fitting....

its 3inches deep, its will have no problems clearing the ground, my car isnt a slammed street car. even if it was i cant see it having a problem. thanks for making it guys.

Hmmm, 5 holes...3 then 2 then 1

Looks great, how did you get rid of the fumes? wash it out or run exhaust into it?

good catch...i hit the 5 button instead of the 6...the tank was washed out then prepped to weld...

deff sits a little low for my liking but this car will never see street time so its ok...has anyone ever had any problems with baffling the tank that way??

I sumped mine this way so that under hard braking the fuel in the sump is forced to use the smaller holes and is less likely to starve the pump of fuel.

niice....looks like a design that appears in cornfields that no one can explain...haha...yea we did it like that just not with so many holes
