Default mini me or b20/b16

I have a 1991 crx si. I am wanting to do a mini me swap. I have a d16y7 head and thats it. what else do ineed to get my project goin?
I am also considering getting rid of the head and swaping a b20 with a b16 head. im looking for opinions on this. thanx

You need a D16Z6 head or D16Y8 head, not a D16Y7.

go b20 vtec... u will be way happier. if u dont wanna spend that much money go buy a y8 head, headgasket, intake gasket, exhaust gasket, and a vtec controller and slap it on. its good for about 15 horspower and sounds good when it cracks. dont get a z6 head unless u want to convert to obd1 (then u need more stuff) cause the obd0 dizzy wont work. u can cut it to get it to work but thats shady.

im pretty sure it came off of a y7...how can i tell if it did by looking at the head?
