Default jdm headlight conversion

im updating my '90 dx headlights to h4's from a jdm ef-2 (i really dont know what chassis this is so any help would be appreciated) and i need a wiring schematic for the single plug from the dual plugs. if anyone has a website that i can reference , please help.

I just went through this you will need a relay for each side. here it goes on the relay 85 is going to be +(from the high beam wire, spliced- it it still goes to bulb filament as well) and 86 is going to ground. then the + on the low beam was going to go from 87a to 30 and out to the bulb which is then grounded. when the high beams come on it trips the relay turning power to 87 which is open and shutting the low beam off

What??? way easier. take each color and match tem up( i want to say red and green but cant quite remember) and then tape off the extra ground afterwards.....they are the same color wires, identical. use only one ground.

No that doesnt work , if you do that both filaments in the bulb will be lit up when you turn your high beams on and the bulb burns out super fast. you need the relay to shut the low off when the highs are turned on

well i dont know, i have had them on there for a few years with the same bulbs no probs?? they actually last longer than the OEM bulbs. Guess i am jsut lucky.
