What K&N Filter works best with a AEM Cold Air Intake?
Just find a k&n that has a 3" opening that is similar size to yours. Most part stores stock a butt load of those overpriced filters....well because they are popular and have a nice mark up for the retail industry. But I would just get one of the new dry filters from aem....they are dope and filter better than any k&n,plus no oiling.....just wash and dry......perfect.They go for about 50 bucks, but they are worth it.

its a reason you oil it because the filter will last forever!
For 50 bucks you can get the K&N too..

stick with K&N and oil it regularly, the performance you get from K&N will superceed any AEM. You wanna go a bit higher performance, rip out your diaphram, (and stock air box) and if your lucky you can mod your 3" cai or sri and fit on a 4" inlet canister type K&N air filter with a bit of work on your cold pipe(just need to make its diameter 4 inches instead of 3, or you can buy an actual adapter to convert your 3" to 4"). Its worth a pretty good performance gain for under $140 (roughly 7-12 peak hp on average stock prelude).
