NICE!

Just did my research too...

http://www.edmunds.com/used/19....html

And it says the vx gets...

47 mpg / 56 mpg

So cool! Driving 2 hrs a day won't hurt the wallet so bad anymore once I pick this up...haha.

Honda should restart production on the VX and CX as they get better MPG than the hybrids.

I just bought myself a teal VX. The d15z1 is an awesome little motor!

VX Power? 238k miles strong!

looks clean. I hated my VTEC-E with a passion. Maybe if the gearing wasn't as long it wouldn't have been so bad

They're called HX's. The CX was always a hatch. Voila, there's no hatches anymore.

Besides, the CX and DX hatch were way too similiar.

they were only similar in the ek's. in the eg's, they had many more differences.

I found a nice red VX with 117,000 miles on it runs great, some honda cancer but not too bad, $1500 so I'm picking that up as a daily for now (of course it probably wont stay stock to long!)

I thought LS trannies were bad...damn. Mine red-lined at about 65mph in 2nd gear! I'm shifting into different gears all the time since I'm so used to driving my LS which has such different gearing.

I still don't mind it though. I remember an ex-gf of mine had a 97 dx auto that was SO ungodly slow. This car feels much peppier than that did, even though that had 70k on it and this has 238k.

Yeah, but the VX > HX, in MPG comparison still. The 92-95 Hatch are cheap to make and got great gas mileage. Honda needs to make these again instead of the new cars.

That is never going to happen...

I had a hx and have a vx... the tranny is ridiculous. My hx would do 70 in 2nd gear at 7k and the vx I think will do 60-65 at 6k. I cant wait till I get rid of that motor/tranny.

My 94 didn't have a clock.

Came with 2 mirrors, cargo cover, A/C, cluster w/tach. I think thats it.
