Default where to get a m12X1.25 die?

Does anyone know where to get a M12X1.25 die? My set only come with a X1.5 and X1.75.. I went to sears and a few hardware stores and cant find it there either (arg america and their "SAE"). Went online to mcmasters and found one for $32! Anyone have any suggesions? It's a really common size among japanese imports and it sucks that i cant find a die or tap for it at a reasonable price.

NAPA should have them. I've bought metric fasteners/taps/dies from them before.

Ask around at a few shops when the tool trucks come and try to catch one, they'll be more than happy to sell you it. Don't be surprised though if it's around $30 as well though.

I had a hell of time trying to found that in stores. Its not common. I went to pretty much every basic car, tool store.

I got mine from J&L industrial supply for 9 picked up.

$7.70 at snapon online. Give them a call and they will give you a number to a rep who you can go get one from locally.
