Default Problem with idle

Not sure if it's been covered before and need some advice from the pros...

I've been having an idle issue with my car for a while now. The idle starts to jump sporatically throughout the day. Sometimes only when it's cold, sometimes throughout the day and sometimes not at all.

What it does is this... say the idle is at 1K, then it'll drop maybe to like 900-950RPM, then back up and down. Kinda of like the idle is tripping. It's not outrageous but it is noticeable and unbelievably annoying. Sometimes it stops doing it for weeks like nothing was ever wrong, then starts again out of nowhere.

I'm also experiencing drop in RPMs when in idle; when I brake, the rpm shoots down slowly past 500RPM. Tried tightening the throttle cable, but to no luck. I'm gonna try tightening it up and keep you guys posted. The first problem I have no idea what's causing it, please help!

its been covered bro....................

Check your IACV which is on the back of your intake manifold, clean it out.... and also check if your car has an FCCV. it controls idle in cold weather starts...
