V-tec Controller in 02 accord
I just bought a jackson racing v-tec controller for my 2002 accord and ppl have been telling me if you have a v-tec any v-tec controller will work even if your cars make and model aint listed. So i wanted to know if that was true before i set out to get it installed or if i should return it.
Well if your 02 Accord isn't listed on which makes and models that VTEC controller fits, then I'd look into it some more and see if it will fit your car. Installing that and having it not work for your car may do some damage to your ECU.
Not good. I was going to look into getting a VTEC controller for my car, but once I found out that you have to tap into the ECU I decided not to anymore because I didn't want to risk messing that up. I'd reccomend going with Apexi's VTEC controller though.

With a Boomslang harness.

The jackson racing vtec controller is the same as the buddy club, it allows you to change the vtec crossover and what not, but it dosnt allow you to adjust air/fuel.. If u want a vtec controller that works good go with the Apexi vtec controller
