as the topic says, is it REALLY necessary? would a couple hundred miles then a race hurt? hehe...my friend hella wants to race me...and i dont wanna wait, but if it'll prolong the life of my clutch extensively then i'll wait till it's broken in, how many miles shoudl i break it in..400-500 or so? i have an ACT with HD (heavy duty pressure plate) and street strip disc.

500? ooh i just read that the street/strip disc it said 200-300 in ACT's instructions, sowhich one to follow? hehe

 

200 miles and risk not breaking it in enough and have problems further down the road

or

500 miles to be safe

Besides, how long does it take to drive 500 city miles anyway? that's like a week or two at most
