I just got done installing my clutch and it chatters just a little and not all the time. I have only driven it like 4 miles could it be a little oil on clutch or flywheel?? i have an XTD stage 3 with the 12lbs flywheel and i know that everyone will probably shoot me for it but ohh well i have heard good things about the stage 3 anyway. Any imput would be appreciated thanks.

 

just the nature of a clutch that grabs like this???? anyone? after driving around it snaps together hard and is taking some getting used to as far as not having as much fethering with it since it seems to be on or off.

 

i just installed an exedy stg 2 in a prelude yesterday and it also has chatter. It comes with having a stronger clutch.

i dunno what the XTD Stage 3 is like..but if it's a 6-puck disc then yeah, it's going to have harsher engagement and/or chatter. that's just how it is if you get something other than an organic disc or kevlar one

 

i have the same clutch, thats how it is its a stage 3 6 puck clutch, its going to grab like that most of the time you drive it, thats why they say its not very streetable
