s2000 vs. sti
ive seen a couple guys that went from an s2000 to and sti and regret it. ive never driven an sti..so i wouldnt be able to give any personal experience. I think id enjoy the sti more because of the space.

I had an ITR to Evo to S2K. For pure fun factor, S2K. Evo for me wasn't even close.
Though it is more practical but at this point in my life, being practical isn't important. GL.

i test drove an sti on an open road and the salesman let me get on it..when the turbo spooled i was grinning from ear to ear but i still bought an s2000...the sti has way more acceleration as u probably already know but it didnt give me that sportscar feeling...the seats were awesome though

it would be a hard one for me to say with the evo and s2k.. let me get a few more mods then on the evo and then i will compare the too....
but no matter what you will never get the feeling of driving a S2K in a sti or a evo...

Agreed... You can't get that driver feel in either the Sti or Evo. I had my friends Sti for 2 weeks while he went overseas. He told me to have fun and that I did. Yes, theres gobs of power but that race car/go kart feel just isn't there. I highly doubt that feel could be duplicated with mods alone.

I've driven the EVO IX and VIII, and while boost is cool, the S2k was just more fun to drive. But it depends what you will be doing with the car. Overall insane power--go boost (STi, EVO), go-kart-like fun roadster--S2000.
Plus, I just can't get over the stylings of either the EVO or the STi. I actually started to like the EVO styling a bit, but then the more I saw them, they got uglier and uglier.

none of these three cars (evo, sti, and s2k) are "better" then the others. They have their advantages and dissadvantes and its all about preference. I think as you age your opinions could change. for example, one day when im out of highschool and i have a family i would probally prefer the evo over an s2000 because its more practical. Also the s2k is bumpy as hell (dont know if its because if the 18's, i have never driven mine with the stocks on it) but i would imagine the sti and the evo ride a bit smoother. after i long day of work i dont want to jump into a go kart.

what killed the evo for me was the interior, i couldnt get used to it. i did like the 9 mr though, that was fun to drive.

Yeah, no kidding. I seriously thought I was sitting in a base Lancer. For a $30k car, it was a huge disappointment.

Shut it, girl.
I have a friend who went to Sti from S2K and loves it. Go test drive whatever car and go based off your own impressions of the cars....... In the end everyone elses opinions wont have mattered, right? Just yours!

I will never get rid of my evo, it's too much fun to drive. but its getting to the point where driving it too much is just a pain in the ***.
I would like to get an s2k as well though just for cruising around town and taking it to some track days and beating the **** out of it.
