It IS that easy. Just unplug the stuff for the cruise, and never worry about it ever again. DON"T cut anything! Because you don't need to.

It's almost self-explanitory. Just get in the engine bay and look around. The hardest part is when you have to get on your back and look up behind your dash and unhook the wire from the gas pedal. Use pliers when you do so. I tried using my fingers and it just gave me the worst backache and neckache. I got it off within a minute using pliers.

On the back of the intake manifold, there is a little nipple where a vacuum line hooks up. You'll see it when you're removing the entire unit and its parts.
Just cut some of the rubber hose that connects to it and close one end with electrical tape and slap the little "nub" back on.
