Hi all,

I'm a bit concerned and wanted to get an opinion on this. I was on the freeway and decided to see what my 05 Honda Accord V6 could do so I floored it, I noticed the "check engine" began to blink and then when I let off the gas the "check engine" light turned off.

Is this becuase the emissions went up when I stepped on the gas?

Not too sure about that one, or emissions. But in my 98 I accelerated around a corner once and the engine bogged down and the CEL came on. Found out it was for cylinder 1 misfire. Could be a misfire for you too....who knows. Only real way to know is if it stays on, then you check your code.
