bought infinity speakers, ripped out my door and old speakers, new ones dont line up with the holes. infinity brackets dont line up either. stock oem bracket is too narrow and cant be modified. have no tools to drill holes in the door

i think they might work. not sure. but i want to do this asap, and dont want to wait for ebay shipping. do local shops like bestbuy have these?

You need tools to sink a few self-tapping screws into the door to mount the new speakers?

 

do you have any experience using those brackets or know where i can get them?

 

I had the exact question for the exact car from a guy at my work today. But you're from Jersey so it couldn't have been you.

Just get/borrow/rent a drill with a #2 phillips bit and some metal tapping screws. Chances are that you'd need it for those adapters anyway!

It looks like those brackets will work, they ship them usps priority mail so they would get to you pretty quick. Those use the stock holes so you wouldn't need to drill, I just ordered a pair lol.

I found it to be a pita finding speakers that fit directly, been back and forth to Best Buy atleast 8 times picking up speakers, returning them, etc. Tried Infinity, Rockford's, Pioneer's, Alpine's, none of them lined up. I think I have 6 1/4 MTX's in there now using a hacked up stock bracket...but I'm on my second pair of these and they still sound distorted
