Default Euro R Questions and Concerns

I just recieved my complete Euro R mani.

I am cruious as to what injector clips I will need to use them in my OBD1 setup?
Do I use the injector resistor box?
What CC are the OEM Euro R injectors?

Thanks

you just use any honda oem obd1 injector clips if you get normal injectors. I mean you want to match your fuel to the motor and power level. People are unsure of the euro R injectors size but if i had to guess i would say 240cc-290cc

also resistor box or no resistor box depends on the type of injector.

I am using the Euro R injectors that came with the manifold. That is why I asked what size they are and what clips they use. Also do they use the injector box?

I don't see how they could be that small. Aren't H22A4's 310's? H22A1's 330's?

I believe A4's are 290 and the A1's are 310

I was kinda thinking the Euro R's may be bigger since the engine has higher HP ratings?

I'd say that would be a good assumption. Theyre rated 20hp or so more with more compression and more agressive cams.
Not sure about using those injectors though. I know OBD1 Prelude and OBD2 Prelude injectors are different. Saturated VS Peak and Hold.

with the Euro-R injectors you would not need a resistor box. You only need a resistor box if you use OBD1 injectors.

Just measure the impedance across the injector to figure out if it's a P&H or saturated injector.

Before I'd installed a used injector, I'd send it off to be cleaned. It's not expensive, and it'll tell you the exact flow rating of each injector.

RC Engineering
Witch Hunter Performance
Marren

etc.

I used Witch Hunter to do two sets of S2k injectors for me.

A mod in the Accord forum asked me about the flow rate of the H injectors. I have always believed that OBD1 are 345cc's and OBD2 are 290 cc's. Where can this information be found???

Is that true for the Euro R injectors too? I know that those are the specs for the H22a1 and H22a4's, but the Euro R is prolly bigger!

RC does it for ~$25-30/each
You will get before and after FLOW RATES.
They can also bump flow for you. They got 465cc out of the DSM 440's we sent them.
Ditto what 71dsp said.....Don't just install used injectors.
