Default My friend is an idiot

I have a 12" JL in my trunk. My friend decided to be not so careful with his skate and he dented the middle cone part of my sub in (the part that sticks out on the speaker). Is this going to effect my sub at all, should i be upset or is it not really a big deal. Thanks.

If it's jus dented, then no, it won't make much of a difference. However, if it's separated from the cone at all, you may be able to hear a little bit of air rushing in/out.

shouldn't really affect the sound too much....
i've found it's not too hard to pop out the center with a little patience....and a little painter's tape. it has just enough stickiness to stick but not that much to where you can't get it off. you can use just about anykind of tape...but if you have really sticky tape..you might wanna press the sticky side against your shirt to dull the stickiness a little bit...place the sticky side against the dust cap and pull out gently...DO NOT YANK!!!
or else you will be trying to super-glue the dust cap back on.
