Default Persistent transmission axle seal leak

Alright, ever since I did my h22 and 5speed swap in my 94 accord, Ive always had the same persistent leak on the passenger side seal. Ive replaced the seal 3-4 times and the axle once... Is there a reason this is happening? I have the m2b4 transmission, I redrilled my trans mount bracket..

I was thinking, should I have to buy an axle seal for an accord 5spd trans? Im out of options here... I cant figure out why it keeps leaking!

The Axle seals are the same between the M2B4 trans and the Accord P2A5/P2U5 Check to make sure it is coming from the Axle seal itself and not a crack in the case. Also make sure that there is no damage to the axle seating portion as this will also cause a leak. Check to make sure there is no play in the differential as well. Any movement in that area can cause the seal to elongate slightly leak

Theres a slight amount of play in the axle, it can move in and out about 2-3 mm... Im pretty sure its not coming from the case because I can fill up the trans, have it shift smooth, then it gets to a certain point and the leak slows down.. Ive used autozone brand axle seals.. and I was doubting their quality..
When you say play in the differential, do you mean up and down movement? Theres a slight amount of that, nothing crazy though..

I had the same problem when I did my swap.....and after replacing about a dozen of those seals,my mechanic realized its a pre loaded shim inside the transmission.U might as well just deal with it untill u replace ur clutch, and then heve them open up ur tranny while its out and replace the shim.Otherwise it will cost more than its worth to fix.Does it leak or just kinda seep out?Mine just barely would seep out,but it was enough to drive me crazy...so I opted for an early clutch replacement.Good luck and I hope this helps.

Autozone ...Get some quality OEM ones from the Dealer. Unless they are for some reason selling NOK or ARAI seals? If not...fix that problem. There shouldn't be any play in the differential whatsoever. That little bit of play will cause a problem and is bad for the transmission internally as well. I would get that fixed asap.

Its really strange, there isnt excessive play in the shafts, the axle can be pushed in and out of the trans about 2-3 mm.. but up and down there isnt any play.. When I first did my swap I used an oem axle seal and it still leaked...
When I first fill it, it loses almost all the the fluid in 2-3 days.. after that it slopes off and stays at the same level for a long time.. I imagine the fluid level is just below the axle seal in the trans..
Its really weird, because it doesnt sling the fluid everywhere... it just leaks from the seal to the bottom of the trans

I would have to say no, because my trans stays at a knotchy tough gear shift, and when I fill it, it goes back to a smooth crisp shift

it may be a bad installation. i know when i did my first set of axle seals they leaked because i installed them improperly (they were pushed in too far).
