Default HELP! 00 civic ex dizzy plug, 98 b18b dizzy plug + p28 obd1 ecu

Hey, I'm doing a 98 b18b (Integra) swap right now into my 00 ek. I have a EX(Si in canada) wiring harness, and the plug for the dizzy has 8 wires and prongs, as the b18b has 9 wires/prongs. Ive been reading up and it says that i would have to change the dizzy plugs around, but still after doing that, there is still 1 wire just kicking around. Is that the Crank Position Sensor(CKP)? I was just wondering what could I do about the extra wire. Also, i would be running a p28 obd1 ecu with hondata. I have a obd2b to obd1 harness. would this all work together with no problems? Sorry im a noob.

Thanks,
Alan

Is the extra wire Blue? If yes, that's the tach signal. On 99-00 Civic's, the ECU outputs the tach signal (pin A19), while the 96-98's used the distributor.
